I’ve also been working on these. I am purpose-driven and want to help others who are newly diagnosed. Patience has never been my strong suit, but I’m doing better. Meditating has helped a lot. And perseverance is my thing. I had to learn it at a young age.
Very nice. Where abouts do you live? That's a fantastic thing to train for. I am going to share your newsletter with my step-dad. I think he would enjoy reading your stuff.
In UK . Currently on weekend trip to Edinburgh (from Worcestershire) visiting wife of old school pal(he sadly died of cancer 15 years ago).Always like to go for a run in places I visit , one of best ways to absorb places I find . WiFi not good here.
mi niña, I am so fortunate to call you my child. You inspire me daily, and to allow my challenges to motivate me, not paralyze me.
Parents were always "supposed" to be the ones who teach their children life's lessons. But wow, you demonstrate by the way you live your life that one's child can be a parent's best teacher. You amaze me, you sparkle and you emanate a positive spirit that's fully and beautifully contagious 💖
You are brave and resilient
3. of my mantras are
- Be in charge of your physicality not a victim of it
- Focus on fitness not illness
-Look the devil in the eye, with a steely eye and say f**kyou
Thank you. And yes I am 💪🏼. These 3 are great. I’ve spent the last year or so getting to a place where I do and say these daily.
Latest one is Purpose, Patience and Perserverance
I used to love doing the same as a pilot in new cities. Enjoy the landscape and the exercise. 💪🏼

Yep. I hear you. Just about to go out for a 5+mile wee trundle rebuilding(again) for a Cancer Research 10k in 7 weeks. Getting there.

Your dad likely to be my music era.
Wish you more power to your elbow 💪
You do have superpower. You have turned fear into determination and are meeting this challenge head on!
