I've told this to you so many times in your life: I'm proud of you.
I am still and always will be incredibly proud of you. But I am also well lit by the glow of your light. You shine, mi niña, you shine. Keep on lighting your arena! 💗
Well Lisa I'm re-reading this and thought I commented the first time. Your writing is beautiful, and it's fascinating and inspirational to see you turn lemons into lemonade. You are a natural-born trail-blazer and leader, lighting up the world wherever you go. I know your grandfather is cheering you on & giving you a high five, or, in his case, telling you how groovy you are and offering a shot of tequila! I love you♡
Lisa, the Quakers ask to be held in the light when life is scary, hard, sad, challenging. I hold you in the light. I think of you and your beautiful family and feel so much happiness for all that you have accomplished. Pilot!!! You did it. I miss pulling weeds with you. All my love❤️
I love that, thank you so much, Lisa! 💖 I really miss our weed-pulling sessions together too! They were always so peaceful and a blast! 😊 I hope you and your family are doing well!
Lisa, I’m reading this and my heart started to pound. When you said that you’d felt like an “imposter” I completely resonated with you!!!! I too had the same initial experience as you yet people were calling me brave, a “survivor” yet I felt like an imposter bc I didn’t go through the things that others had gone through. When I was 1 year cured (after mastectomy and reconstructive surgeries) I was asked to be one of the “survivors” in a fashion show. I felt like a fraud bc I knew that others were much more deserving. But I was convinced to accept the honor. I learned so much that day from all of the beautiful women that I met. We held each other up and bonded.
But I know that our stories are different now and reading your story humbles me in a way that is so profound. Your choices of joy and positivity are an inspiration for so many. God is in the miracle business and I’m praying that you beat this one day at a time.
The quiet ones always left a legacy, you are one of them. Short list. Your words will resonate…..always.
Thank you, Hook. That means a lot 🙏
Beautifully said and a testament to how we should all strive to live our lives. Embrace the things that are truly important everyday.
Indeed. Love y'all 💗
