I certainly identify with you, Lisa. When I got my lung cancer diagnosis, I thought my life was over. I was resigned to getting my affairs in order. But then I got mad. I’m still fighting and I don’t ever intend to stop. You are an inspiration to all of us whether we have cancer or not. Keep on writing. Keep on fighting. 💙❤️

Yes, thank you, reinforcing the switch in perspective is helpful. Don't resent what we have to do to stay well, recognize it as empowering ourselves to heal.

Yes! When my kid was sick with cancer I too fought for him, with all the complementary meds as well as energy reiki healing and regular meds and operations. His cancer was very very aggressive, but if not, I really believe we would have won in the end! And eating healthy, giving him Chinese meds etc made me as his mom feel like I was taking an active role in his recovery! I have no regrets about trying it all - doctors don’t know it all! You can beat this, with a positive mindset and active involvement! And eat the chocolate too! Life is too short, for us all, to suffer!

Thank you for your kind words. I’m so sorry to hear about your son—my heart is with you. You’re an incredible mom. All we can do is give it our best and trust that the road will lead us where we’re meant to go. No regrets 💗

All this! The body follows the mind, every time. I have a mentor / friend who has advised me to talk about cancer in the past tense, and then focus my thoughts and words on recuperating and strengthening.
